Almost everyone has happened to delete some files or folders only to realize that they were very important and couldn't be replaced. Or have had to format their hard disk due to a virus attack and lost some valuable documents, photos, music and so on. This program helps us to recover most of those lost files in a very easy manner.
It has a nice interface that walks us through the entire 14-step process. First, we need to specify the type, size and location of the files that have been lost. Then we can choose the type of the device where the files were stored (hard drive, USB memory, portable device...). Also, we can specify the name(s) of the lost files so the searching can be done faster.
In the shareware version, you need to register your name, address, phone and e-mail for the program to analyze your devices for lost files. Also, you can only view the discovered files after paying the cost of the program and entering the corresponding key code. Another disadvantage is that, although the graphics and sounds of the interface are nice, they make the program perform slowly, and there is setting to turn them off. Also, some of the steps can be considered superfluous. Nevertheless, the program is recommended by Microsoft, so you may want to check it.
